Dan James
Managing Partner
Dan James was most recently a senior member of the European Business Development team at Millennium Management for 4 years. Prior to joining Millennium Dan was a Managing Director, Head of Synthetic and Quant sales at Goldman Sachs, London. Previously he worked at Barclays and Merrill Lynch. At Millennium, Dan was involved in the talent acquisition of senior investment professionals across all market strategies.
He has deep client relationships across the hedge fund industry and unparalleled knowledge of Investment Management talent. This enables a fundamental consultative approach from initial engagement with candidates, approaching senior client contacts, interview feedback, in-depth contractual negotiations, and successful agreement.
Christian Robbins
Partner
Christian Robbins has over 15 years markets experience. His career started as a Money Broker, initially at RP Martin, then Head of Arbitrage at Butlers / ICAP. As a Headhunter he has worked for leading executive search firms, and lastly Head of Investment Management search at Hammond Partners.
Christian initially worked with leading investment banks in their Macro trading build-outs. More recently he has worked with leading hedge funds across Equity Fundamental, Macro and Quant Strategies.
Tony Ernest
Managing Partner, Asia Pacific
Tony Ernest has over 16 years’ experience covering Hedge Fund CIOs and Portfolio Managers across Asia Pacific. Tony has most recently spent a decade at Morgan Stanley Asia where he was Head of Institutional Equity Sales, Southeast Asia. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Tony had spent 6 years at JP Morgan Cazenove Asia in Equity Sales covering Portfolio Managers and Analysts.
Over the span of his 16-year career, Tony has developed a deep understanding and network of Hedge Funds, portfolio construction, risk management and cross-asset knowledge of strategies and markets. Being able to utilise this knowledge allows Tony to conduct both a quantitative & qualitative approach to candidate analysis and selection.
Florian Martigny
Partner, Asia Pacific
Florian has more than 20 years of experience of advising on securities, asset management and entrepreneurship. Over the past years, Florian has successfully launched several start-ups, both in the financial and the digital space.
Prior to this Florian held Director roles as Pan Asian Equity Sales Trader, Delta One Trader, Pan European Equity Sales Trader and Assistant Financial Analyst at Standard Chartered Securities (Hong Kong), JPM Cazenove (Hong Kong), Credit Agricole Indosuez Cheuvreux (New York) and Exane BNP Paribas (Paris). Prior to joining Monroe Partners, he was an Executive Director for a relative value crypto arbitrage fund in Singapore. Florian’s experience enables him to be able to work closely with asset managers and assist them in building their businesses.
Priya Nathwani
Head of Research, UK
Priya Nathwani has over 17 years’ experience working in a range of support and supervisory roles on the buy side. For much of that time her primary focus was on establishing and developing an in-house equity finance function covering offices and trading desks in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Through this role she developed a wide range of relationships with her peers on the buy side and key providers from the sell side.
She started her career at Merrill Lynch having gained a BA in Banking and Finance. She is working with the team to ensure an efficient and personalised experience whilst building on her previous contacts and experience.
